Since April 2007, I have played a key role in guiding and motivating an entrepreneurial woman, Debra Mazda, to launch and grow a business from an idea to the brink of success. Mazda's past accomplishments include several years as a Training Supervisor/Director for Richard Simmons Anatomy Asylums. Today Mazda is living her dream, offering fitness programs and motivation and nutrition products to plus-size women. With my assistance, Mazda has been accepted for inclusion in Collage Videos catalog; the leading domestic catalog retailer of exercise videos and sold her fitness videos live on QVC in February and April 2009. Mazda recently finalized negotiations with ExerciseTV to be included in their Comcast On Demand and online download programs, as well as signed a distribution agreement, taking her products nationwide. Mazda is well on the path to her dream of inspiring plus size women worldwide and will be reaping financial rewards from her efforts soon. I have helped Mazda Motivations, LLC with business planning, customer service, sales, marketing, purchasing products for resale, processing and shipping online orders including orders on Amazon, managing finances, managing the website, sending out blogs, internet research, budget preparation, business plan preparation and business forms creation, as well as being a sounding board for Mazda to bounce ideas off of. On an ongoing basis I provide Mazda with support, motivation, advice and insight as well as day-to-day operations management.

After having met principal Brian Melville in October 2007 I have been providing ongoing international business solutions to Bristol and Bath, a supplier of top-of-the-line European bathroom products. Services include periodic in-depth analyses of freight methods and costs, viability of consolidating shipments and determining new sources of business. Reduced costs 8%, contributing to a 5% increase in sales from 10/07-08/08.

In May 2008 Cara was looking for a way to gain control of her local marketing efforts. After reviewing her existing marketing plan and follow-up strategies I provided Cara with a systematic solution to her problem, which included recording and monitoring all of her marketing efforts and adjusting her efforts according to what was working and what wasn’t working. I encouraged Cara to calendar action dates, which serves to better monitor her efforts and build relationships with local business establishments.

From June 2006 until April 2007 I provided professional services to an entrepreneur launching an apparel importing business, helping grow his business from $0.00 in sales to $425,000 in sales in 10 months. I managed every aspect of this client’s business including: submitting quotations to customers, processing purchase orders, creating order acknowledgements, purchasing, logistics, import/export, preparing export documentation, working with freight forwarders and customs, project management, creating and reviewing Letters of Credit, preparing reports and budgets, managing finances, customer service, sales support and business forms creation, as well as being a sounding board for the owner to bounce ideas off of.

From November 2001 to September of 2002 I provided day-to- day operational services to an entrepreneur launching a videoconferencing and staffing company. :
- Managed the rollout of 24 domestic branches in 10 months
- Provided field support to 27 domestic branches
- Established and maintained performance standards that yielded increased operational efficiency
- Managed the cohesive interfacing of the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Human Resources, and

From April 1997 to November 2001 I worked for this leading global distributor of telecommunication products.  During my employment I was promoted to two management positions, both of which were developed and forged by myself. My pioneering efforts served to improve Power & Telephone Supply’s operational efficiencies and increase profits, turning an unprofitable division into a profitable one within 14 months of taking on the challenge. I helped to increase international sales by 18% ($1.8 million) in 1999 by negotiating product costs with vendors (serving to reduce product costs an average of 5%-8%), shipping costs with freight forwarders an average of 11% and developing sales in new and existing markets. While supervising three Sales Support employees I managed the complete operations of the international division of Power & Telephone Supply while ensuring that worldwide locations complied with U.S. corporate policies and interfaced cohesively.
